This update will upgrade the firmware in your hp scanjet 8200 series scanner to version 1.06. Install this update only if you are having the problem described below: If you continue to receive the "DMA Timeout" error after updating the firmware in your scanner this may instead indicate a hardware failure. Please contact HP Customer Care for further assistance. After installing the update, the software will prompt you to shut down the computer. IMPORTANT: In order for the firmware to be updated, you must allow the computer to shut down. Once the computer is shut down, disconnect the power cable from the scanner. Wait a few moments (10 seconds or so) and then reconnect the power cable to the scanner. Once the power supply is reconnected to the scanner, turn the computer back on. |
