This utility supports the deskjet control panel (DJCP) for the deskjet 1220C series printer. Many software manufacturers may not develop printer drivers for their software programs, and thus this utility may allow you access to certain useful features when using DOS. The DJCP utility allows you to do the following:

  • Adjust print settings
  • Specify the default printer setting for printing from your DOS program
  • Note: HP DeskJet Control Panel does not support printing of special features.

Installation instructions:

  1. Before you install the Control Panel, make sure you have setup your printer and that the printer is turned on.
  2. Download the utility into a temporary locaiton on your hard drive.
  3. At the DOS prompt C:>, and change to the directory containing the utility.
  4. Type INSTALL and press ENTER.
