OS:not set		 This patch addresses communication between the HP printer (HP LaserJet 1220 / HP LaserJet 3200M) and the Mac host in both USB and network configurations.


This software release consists of one file: HP All-in-One Communications.

To install this software update, you must replace the existing version of this file in the System:Startup Items folder with this new version. To do so, perform the following steps:

  1. Power off the LaserJet.
  2. Shut down all running applications, including the Launcher if applicable. Any applications in the System:Startup Items folder need to be disabled until step #10 has completed.
  3. On the Desktop, select and open your boot volume. This will open a finder window.
  4. In the Finder window that just opened, select and open the System Folder.
  5. In the System Folder finder window, select and open the Startup Items folder.
  6. Drag the HP All-in-One Communications icon from the Startup Items folder to the Trash.
  7. Drag the new HP All-in-One Communications icon delivered in this package and place it in the Startup Items folder.
  8. Shutdown the Mac.
  9. Power on the LaserJet.
  10. Power on the Mac.
