Updates your printer firmware with the following process:

Please use a 2 meter (6 foot) USB High speed (2.0) cable.
Once the firmware update process has started, do not use your Mac for other activity until the process is complete.

Mount the disk image containing the firmware update.
Run the FW Update Application contained in the disk image.
Follow the onscreen prompts to continue.
Do NOT power cycle the printer or the PC during this process, or the printer may become unstable and/or unusable without further attention from HP.
Note: The firmware update can take several minutes to complete. Please be patient.
To verify the update, a configuration page can be printed. The configuration page will display the current firmware revision in the product information section.
