Updating firmware using "HP Easy Firmware Upgrade" utility

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Do not power cycle the MFP or the PC during this process or the MFP may become unstable and or unusable.

Please be aware that an upgrade in some circumstance may require ten to twenty minutes or more to complete.

When the upgrade process has completed the LaserJet will reboot. Once the printer is back online, print a Configuration Page and verify that the new firmware has been installed.

Update process

Download the HP Easy Firmware Upgrade utility file to the desktop or another location on your computer which you prefer.
Double click on the HP Easy Firmware Upgrade utility .exe file that has been downloaded. A dialog box for a self extractor will open. The default path for the self extractor is c: and will be displayed in the dialog box. If you do not prefer this location you can now manually change it.
