This Softpaq fixes a problem with the Windows XP Remote Assistance SLP. When you try to establish a Remote Assistance session, you may receive the following error message:

    You have been disconnected from "name" computer.
For more information about this fix, refer to Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 311889.

NOTE: This is not needed on systems with Service Pack 1.

HOW TO USE:
    1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.
    2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
    3. You must reboot your computer for the changes to take effect.
