HOW TO USE: To create a bootable CD:
  1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.
  2. Execute the downloaded file. By default, the SoftPaq unpacks files to the following folder:C:SWSETUPSP28732.
  3. Insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW disc into the CD-RW drive.
  4. Start the CD writing software, such as Roxio or MyCD, and select the option to create a CD from an ISO image. If needed, refer to the CD writing software documentation for help with using ISO images.
  5. Select the file C:SWSETUPSP28732MAKECDNVS400PCI_4.17.00.50.A1.ISO as the ISO image to use.
  6. Write and finalize the CD.
  7. After the CD has been created, the SoftPaq .EXE file downloaded in Step 1 can be deleted, if desired.
  8. To install the video BIOS update, insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive of the workstation to be updated and restart the workstation. The workstation boots from the CD. If the workstation does not start from the CD, refer to the workstation documentation for help on booting from a CD.<
