HOW TO USE:
- Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.
- Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. Entering "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files creates 3 new directory folders in the download directory. All files are unpacked into these newly created directory folders.
- After the directory has been created, you may delete the self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.
- To create the optional installation diskette(s), run MAKEDISK.BAT and follow the on-screen instructions.
- To install, run SETUP.EXE from either the DISK1 subdirectory (created in step 2 above) or from diskette #1 (if you created diskettes in step 4 above). Follow the directions on the screen.
- After the installation is completed, you may delete the directory folders created in step 2 if you wish.
- Changes user interface on Compaq Power tab to always display "Calibrate" button (for batteries present in the system), regardless of whether battery needs calibration or not.
- Changes battery charge level text from "Critical" to "Very Low
